Defunct FIRST Teams

Hi,

Because no one will step up to be a leader, our school can not have a First team, but, we do have a robotics class. I am looking to buy robotic parts from defunct FIRST teams. Do you have any contact info. for teams that have gone by the wayside? Thanks in advance for any leads you can generate.

Re: Defunct First Teams

This past year, we started a team for students who were homeschooled or whos schools teams couldn't support themselves, or cant start a team in Georgia.
You could try and se if you could find some kids like you and start your own team. It is an arduous ask to say the least. PM me if you want to know more.

Re: Defunct First Teams

If you school system allows, it can be run by a parent association. That helped us bridge the gap between teachers.
If your engineers are in place, see if a parent association can take on all the hard stuff.
It is a lot of work, but it can be done. Don't burden your engineers with it helping to run the team. Find a few parents to do share the load.
PM me if I can help.
