They started off with the Emery Iron Eagles (1219, which is still in existence today) and about a year or so later the Diamond Eagles (their exact number has escaped me, something in the 1300's) came into existence. Im pretty sure that happened in New Jersey this year as well. The team from Montclair split the same way, one team for boys, one team for girls.
