[OCCRA]: Inspection

ALL teams are required to complete the Pre-Inspection form sent to your Adult Team leader. This inspection form is required at the time of inspection - COMPLETED!

If you have not seen this form ask your adult team leader.

Note: 1 error - the globe motor is an additional motor not replacing an existing motor in the kit.

WARNING!!! Each year teams come in overweight and are sawing of critical parts to get under the weight. Test your weight!!!!! Before the opening competition.

Hint: Driling holes saves very little weight and weakens your robot.

INSPECTION PROCESS: Fairness forms are turned in.

1. Teams weigh robot. 115 or less / 120 or less if using the compressor for Pneumatics.

2. Size Box: must fit in starting position 28 x 32 x 40 tall.

3. Electrical / Mechanical: A inspector will be checking the listed items on the pre-inspection form....and then some.
Points of many problems:
Sharp edges
Bare wires in connectors
Batteries NOT insulated
Batteries with no hold down strap.

BIG BIG BIG

Missing team numbers on all 4 sides and numbers to small.
Pneumatic relief valve missing
Missing cover on box
Non approved additional materials

Once you have passed inspection you will get a sticker placed on your robot. Please do not remove as this is used all season to record inspections on.

All inspections stop at the start of the competition. Any robot not inspected or passed by the start of the competition will not compete that night.
