Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #121

After reading Brin's Earth both Big Mike and JVN set out to make the Gravity Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation (GASER) device featured in the novel. However, as they slaved by their soldering guns both ran into serious problems. JVN lacked a reliable gravity source and Big Mike couldn't figure out a way to focus gravitational energies. However, in the pool during the 2003 Nationals they accidentally achieved their goal, Big Mike's gravitational field interacted with the amazing superreflector of JVN's head to produce a pulse of energy the likes of which have never been seen before or since.

For the IRI talent show, Big Mike and JVN decided to re-enact the best scenes from Titanic.

Big Mike: "Im king of the world!"
JVN: "We've already done that scene... now is when you have to kiss me goodbye and slip under the water!"
Big Mike: "K... k... kiss you? Um... forget the Titanic, how about we do Jaws instead! Duh nuh, duh nuh, duh nuh duh nuh... roawrrrrr!
