I didn't really use it as much as "Power Overwhelming" or "Show me the money" but it's still a good reference to Diablo II.

The original Doom: idspispopd: smashing pumpkins into small piles of putrid debris; changed to idclip in Doom II; allowed you to walk through walls (no-clip mode). idkfa gave you all weapons and full ammo; I won't translate.
Also (i think it was) trex in Need for Speed II let you be a dinosaur. Its cornering wasn't that good though.

my fav is the XYZZY (Shift) (Enter) (Enter) for minesweeper gives you the little pixel in the upper left corner that tells you if its a mine or not.

What about the cheat codes for Duke Nukem 3d / Atomic Edition:
DNkey - gives you all keys to open All Doors
DNlife - Gives you Immortality
DNguns? - Gives you all the weapons
DNammo - Gives you unlimited ammo

Somebody refresh my memory its been a solid 6 years since I've touched Duke Nukem. There was one I used to use for Command & Conquer - Red Alert and that was the Unlimited Money (PC Verison)

Laugh if you must, but the only cheat code I remember is Down-Back-B for Shaq-Fu on Sega Genesis.
Depending on what character you had, it would make you do a pretty cool special move.

Also there were some pretty spiffy codes for Daytona USA for Sega Saturn. (yes, I own that system.. one of the few who actually bought it.)

One of them let you drive as a horse instead of a car, and another one made your car's wheels disappear, yet somehow keep rolling.

Good times had back in the day..

Oh, speaking of racing games, in the original driver there was a cheat code to get your car on "stilts" and your suspension was like.. 5' tall. It was awesome for cruising straight.. but one wrong hard turn and you were flipped.

That game was invaluable for it's lesson to kids back then to not buy and/or race SUV's or you would go flippy flippy..

dncornholio was God Mode
dnstuff gave you everything (ammo, keys, guns)
dnscotty let you transport(beam) to other levels

Duke Nukem 3D was definitely an entertaining game.... for the first few levels, then, IMO, it got old. At the time, however, the graphics were absolutely jaw dropping.

see I was close =). I remember using dnstuff all the time no matter what level i was on.

We should have closed the thread at this one. I would contend for every kid growing up in the 80's this and the mortal combat finishing moves made you THE COOLEST

I honestly though that this was what the thread was going to be about, I am fairly certain without this code it is impossible to beat Contra for NES

I used that code for everything! I never ran out of TMs. I also caught a few lvl 100 pokemon with that glitch.
I don't really go out of my way to find cheats because I like beating the game the old fashioned way, but there are some cool ones out there.
