2005 breaker panel - good or gone?

Maybe this should be in the rumor thread.....

I see on the IFI website that the sweet 2005 breaker panel is "Out of Stock - No more this year". Any chance that means it will be in the KOP? Note that the ATC Fuse panel just says "Out of Stock".

Re: 2005 breaker panel - good or gone?

It appears that more than just the Breaker Panel is "Out of Stock - No more this year". Other items include:
  • Robot Controller for Control System
  • FIRST Control System
  • Operator Interface for Control System
  • CAMERA-CMU-2 CMU-II Camera Module
  • Servo, Hitec, Model HS-322HD
  • DB9 Cable, 25ft. Male to Female
I am sure there are more that I missed....

I imagine they are just stocking up on all existing supplies for the coming of the Season, as I doubt they are getting rid of all of the items from the KOP.

right, except all of the things you listed were in the 2006 KOP; the 2005 breaker panel was not - it was just an allowable part. The point of my post is - will it be included this year?

Re: 2005 breaker panel - good or gone?

Ah.. I see.. I missed that correlation

In reply to your original statement then, I certainly hope that it is included in the kit. We became addicted to it when it first came out and rushed to order a new one last year once we found out it was an allowable part.

I was just showing our current crop of electrical students the old 40A breaker panels (of solid brass) and commented that the Integrated IFI Panel is so much better!

Fingers crossed...

Re: 2005 breaker panel - good or gone?

I wouldnt read too much into it, the site has said "Out of Stock - No more this year." since build season last year.
