Assuming everything fits snugly how are you going to tilt the gearbox forward, the two vertical bolts will move forward when you tilt the tranny down and not line up with the bottom bolt (??) I guess you will oversize the holes in the threaded rod???

Actually no, you would certainly want to use a piece of shaft and just thread that. It's tedious, I know, but it gives the strength you want with something holding your gearbox.
Salik, I'm thinking both of the shafts would be allowed to rotate, the gearbox should tension nicely if everything is lined up to begin with. |
