It is up to the individual playing their Wii console to stay safe. Nintendo includes several warnings in the packaging, in order to access the Wii menu you have to view a safety warning and most games start with a safety warning. The game where most injuries are accruing is the game "Wii Sports", now it is not the games fault as I have played this game, with very minimal movement. People are letting themselves go and not looking out for objects they should be. Examples of injuries and damages can be viewd at

Has anyone figured out how to get the MAC Address of the Wii? I was using MAC Address filtering for my wireless router and had to take it off in order to get my Wii to connect to Wiiconnect 24. I'm guessing I could get it from my routers DHCP table, but if there is another way, that would be lovely.
