I got my dad a USB turntable so he can convert his albums into mp3s or CDs. It also has a built in pre-amp so he can replace his old (non-pre-amp) turntable.

It's a Numark TTUSB. He's already converting his records and it sounds pretty good. I've heard Earth, Wind & Fire - All In All and now Chuck Mangione is playing. It comes with Audacity to do noise removal and editing and things.

Oh, and I started my shopping on Dec. 23 and finished it this morning at about 2 am (thank goodness for online shopping and exchanging gifts with the boyfriend until January 5! )

To my dad: new cordless phones as our current ones were dying.

To my sister: another culinary knife to help replace the old set that she had which were breaking (while knives typically give bad connotations, this gift didn't, since she, like every member of my family, loves cooking).

To my neices and nephew: some more toys to add to their already massive collections.
