To see the actual inventor file, you can visit my team's website. It should be up in a couple of days. The url is www.precisionguesswork.com
As seen in the post above, Curt Studebaker of team 1646 created this model in Inventor and you can download it here: Link!

Re: Modeling The Rack.

there are several parts required to design the official rack that are not described in the sheets, most of them required in the sub assemblies pdf, does anybody know where can i get their measures or even the design files?

Hey, I have created a list of the part materials for the low cost rack. I have checked it over with other teams and we finially figured it out. If you or anybody else would like this spread sheet please email me at Kligotti@comcast.net and I will send it out to you!

Re: Modeling The Rack.

Can someone save this whole field model, or even just the rack, in Inventor 10 for me? That is what we have on our team computer right now and we could really use the model of the rack for tonights meeting (and updating Inventor is not something I think I'll be able to get to before tonight because I don't want to have to make sure it all works correctly before the meeting so that the students can use it).

Thanks.

Re: Modeling The Rack.

possibly by tonight i will start 3d modelling the rack for anyone in MAX format. I will also convert it to 3DS and DWG. I will try and include the chains. It will be posted on the www.Team302.com site unless otherwise posted. PS. I will try and get it for inventor too
