Re: Hours spent so far....

The correct question to ask is, how many hours of sleep have I lost?

Re: Hours spent so far....

Kickoff was an all niter for about four of us so myself I have pulled about 40 hours since kickoff and lost lots of sleep. Well all I have to say is it's for a good cause so what's wrong with a little sacrifice. well to bed now for a little of sleep before I jump back on it.

Re: Hours spent so far....

Well, kickoff was 4 hours
Then after kickoff was 5 hours, i.e. crazy argument about strategy.
After the official meeting was my electronics team design session, about 4 hours.
Sunday was 5 hours.
So total about 18 hours, not counting all those time I'm on CD.

Re: Hours spent so far....

our animation teams has spent lots of time together.

10-12 hours before kick off
6 hours saturday after kick off
4 hours sunday
9 hours monday
6 hours tuesday

We locked ourselves in a broom closet only emerging for bathroom breaks, food, and, of course, cases of mountain dew when our supply runs out.

Re: Hours spent so far....

Similarly to Zoheb. Our team (118) meets for kickoff at UHCL and than we got to know each other afterwards for a few hours. Than sunday we spent 5 hours on functions of the bot and I have done about 6 hours of work researching designs + parts we can use and around 3-4 hours (cause i couldn't sleep) on the website....

Pavan.

Re: Hours spent so far....

Kickoff started at 9:00 AM, BAE showed a video to our team then they watched the feed. Go back to the high school and discuss until 6:00 PM. Following day start at 12:00 end at 6:00 PM. Last night we were at the school until 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

That would be a total of 18 hours (assuming kickoff ended at 12:00, I wasn't paying attention to the time at that point).

In the first couple of weeks we spend 6 hours on Sundays 3 hours on weekdays and 9 hours on Saturdays. That's 30 hours a week. The days get longer towards the end of build season.
