Buying Aluminum rectangular tubing

I'm looking for some rectangular tubing in sizes Mcmaster doesn't carry. What are some other good suppliers of rectangular tubing?

What sizes are you looking for?

We have good success finding most of what we need at onlinemetals.com.

Also, consider changing your design to use a more common size so that, should you need to replace some or all of it during an event, you'll have less trouble finding a supplier of it.

What about 1/16" wall thickness specifically?

7/16" x 1 5/8"
2" x 1"

I'm not sure you'll find it in those sizes. The biggest I've seen 1/16th wall extrusion is about 1x1. M & K Metals on Western near Rosecrans might have them if they are available. They are also pretty reasonable price wise. We get much of our metal there.

For something as big as 2"x1" or 2"x2" you might want to consider bending sheet metal and riveting it together

Re: Buying Aluminum rectangular tubing

Check out coast aluminum. www.coastaluminum.com

They are in Santa Fe Springs. Check out their online catalog but also call to see if they have anything new or different.

We have purchased both 1x2 and 2x2 .062 wall locally here in LA.

The likely hood of finding something like 7/16 x 1-5/8 is very slim.

You can also check out Fry Steel, and Industrial Metal Supply both have locations in the LA area.

Yeah, Team 60 just reccommended them to me. Great prices compared to what I've seen before. the 2x1 and 2x2 were the main needs, the other was for a piece a rookie designed before thinking about dimensions available. But It has been redone now.

Thanks for the help everyone.
