The robot can be on an angle, as long as the sides of the robot are vertical. It's LEGO, I wouldn't read too much into it. Overall, it looks like a good model. However, with a large, double jointed arm like that, I would check on the 72" envelope limit.

it reaches up more than it does out. I mean it is lego... It would break the rule if I made it exactly like that, but I'm not limited to where I can connect things, whereas I am with lego lol. and no it isnt on an angle, its just a very low platform.
