Re: Team 100's prototype
What size sprockets do you have on your axles?

Re: Team 100's prototype
And, on a similar note, how big are your wheels?

Re: Team 100's prototype
It seems very maneuverable. Good job!

Re: Team 100's prototype
Wheels are 8" pneumatics from skyway, and the sprockets are 30 tooth.
We figured we'd want a fast bot, since the playing field is big and open. High gear: 15 fps Low gear: 8 fps (calculated speeds) Right now the wheels aren't inflated. If we have trouble turning on carpet we will simply pump-up the middle wheel to give us more "rock." It's also controled by an XBOX 360 controler ![]() Last edited by =Martin=Taylor= : 15-01-2007 at 01:17. |

Re: Team 100's prototype
Looks very fast, it will be interesting to see how well it runs with the payload. Congratulations on completing a working drive train within the first week, that's an impressive feat that not many teams are capable of.
BTW: Could you post a video with the xbox controller controlling it? I just have to see this . |

Re: Team 100's prototype
very nice. looks like your using the andy marks... we use the same and get about 16fps and 7fps... but thats without the load of the arm, ramp, or anything we put on it...
