We are using the Andymark 2 speed transmissions. For the wheels we are using 5" colsons with live axles. The middle and rear wheels will be driven off of the transmission and then a chain will run from the middle to the front wheel. Those are the 80/20 linear slides. As for how well they work we have never tried them, but I have seen them used many times and they seem to work really well for a pretty low cost and no machining. The frame will most definitely be pink.
I actually talked to the powdercoater earlier this week and we should have something worked out with them. The electronics will be in the far rear and the front section around and under the arm. |
