servo on AM shifter

has anybody used the servos to shift their andymark gearboxes?
do they shift fast? how reliable are they?

AndyMark sells them directly (http://andymark.biz/am-0085.html), so I assume they would be pretty good. I'm sure they were put through all sorts of testing before they were offered for sale.
If you're looking to get numbers on them, you can probably contact AndyMark and ask them.

i developed a servo shifter for the AM tranny last season and it made it through the season without and glitches. shifting is slightly slower the pneumatics but you are using a lot less force to shift. the upside its you can lose a lot of weight in pneumatics if you only need it to shift.

The servos shift at a reasonable speed. The one downside is that you can't shift while stationary.
