The device used to pick up the tubes was not actuated at all, actually.
It was not just a hook or just a twig taped on the end. There was alot of engineering analysis of the tubes and forces/moments acting on them to design the gripper design. Guess for now, but I am working on a quick white paper that will show how and why the concept works! |
