Sideways vs Forward Speed of Mercanum
Does anyone who allready finished building thier mercanum frame know if the sideways speed (crab speed) is as fast or slower than the forward speed? If so, can you give some metric that quantifies it?
Thanks! |

Re: Sideways vs Forward Speed of Mercanum
Based on our custom mecanum drive last year, the forward speed was at least 2-3 times faster than the sideways drive. This was probably because of the inefficiencies.
I don't know how the AM wheels will preform though. |
