Operator interface question

Hi,
Does anyone know if tape can be used on the operator interface? and if so, can any kind of tape be used? I couldn't find anything about it in the rules.
Thanks,
Team 1015

Re: Operator interface question

There shouldn't be a problem with tape on the operator interface. I do recommend however that you do not use tape of any kind for structural issues - holding stuff on or together. OK for labels, decoration, insulation, etc.

But, this is MY opinion, not FIRST's. If you're really unsure, ask on the Q&A

Don

Re: Operator interface question

Aren't materials for the controls pretty open-ended? As long as it's not dangerous, damaging, interfering, or powered, you can use it on your controls. (Some powered stuff can be used -- RTFM.)
