But I only count 11 performance wheels.

Possibly making 5 robots? It seems there are enough there to have 5 2 speed 4 wheel drive robots. And enough treads to have 5 treads per bot.

Craziness.

The students really enjoyed countersinking all 144 holes in those sprockets....and then came the drive plates.

Re: pic: 10 Shifters Ought to do well this year......

The question isnt how much money they will have left to spend, but rather how much weight they have left to spare? How much does all of that stuff weigh.

Its obviously not all for one robot lol, that would break just about every rule in building the robot.

I hope it wasn't in your team's material inventory.

And I hope it wasn't in AndyMark's current inventory -- they should be shipping those things as fast as they can make them right now.

So maybe you saw more in AM's preseason inventory?

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.

Re: pic: 10 Shifters Ought to do well this year......

It's always a refreshing view to open the cabinet each day and see such a lovely sight.

Student: So what are we going to do today?
Me: Well you see this sprocket; we have to counter sink all 6 holes.
Student: Oh ok.
Me: Get started on the drill press i will bring the others.
Student: Sounds good.
Me: (carrying huge stack) Here you go, every one of these needs to be countersunk.

Oh the looks on his face...

Most sprockets don't come countersunk, for everyone watching... It was priceless.

I believe there's a 3rd pile of performance wheels behind the two clearly visable ones.
