Try soldering it around the ends, then putting tape around it to reinforce it.

If that doesnt work for you, get an antenna off something similar or use a good old fashion coat hanger.

IFI sells them at www.ifirobotics.com for about $8 w/o tax HOWEVER I would not suggest taking apart the unit since it is under warranty and any more accidental damage to it may void the warranty, So you can use a Coat Hanger, Purchase the Antenna from IFI or contact IFI and see what they can do so that the warranty stays intact.
