Teams are going to be able to be drafted up to three times each. The draft is going to be where you post your pick within the scheduled window according to the draft order.

You will be given a one hour window to post your pick. A schedule will be posted before the draft. If you can't be near a computer for your turn the PM me a lsit to go by.

This weekend? I vote for week 2.
Three times per team? So if I pick one team 3 times and they win chairman's than I automatically win?
If that's how it's going to be run, I'm out.

Another team could be top seed, win, and win engineering inspiration.

I agree.

Teams can get picked one team. If someone doesn't get picked, big deal.

Re: [FF]: UTC Connecticut Regional

here is my thoughts.

make it 2 leagues. first half stays here, other half starts a new league.

same rules as previous years firstbot195.

Re: [FF]: UTC Connecticut Regional

Eric,

Typically, drafters want to see how well a team is going to perform if they attend an earlier regional, and also how the game will play out. Thus if the event is later in the season, we draft into the season.

Also, teams are usually drafted once, limited the size of a league. While this league is now too big for that, perhaps you could split it in half, and we could play the traditional way.

If you want to draft in this new method, and as you are the commisioner it's entirely up to you, it'll be something new. Perhaps we can start a league for us "old timers" who are stuck in our ways.

EDIT: While I was writing this, it appears Alex, Tom, and Jeff were talking. I'm definitely for splitting the league.

Or Perhaps we could have this process automated, and decide what kind of league we play in.

We should draft during the week following the first weekend of regionals

If everyone is for splitting the league then we will make it two sepearate leagues with the same rules.
To clarify the picking a team three times question, you may only pick the same team once and the league can only pick a team three times.
