Here is a good diagram. I forgot who made it though, but thank him.

the trigger, the 2 buttons to the either side of the thumb pad, and the button to on the side(where your thumb goes)

The multidirectional "hat" switch is connected to the analog "wheel" pin on the joystick port. Use the Dashboard Viewer program to see what values correspond to each direction.
(By the way, it only has four real directions, but some of the diagonal combinations do give unique values.) |
