Eric,
Typically, drafters want to see how well a team is going to perform if they attend an earlier regional, and also how the game will play out. Thus if the event is later in the season, we draft into the season. Also, teams are usually drafted once, limited the size of a league. While this league is now too big for that, perhaps you could split it in half, and we could play the traditional way. If you want to draft in this new method, and as you are the commisioner it's entirely up to you, it'll be something new. Perhaps we can start a league for us "old timers" who are stuck in our ways. EDIT: While I was writing this, it appears Alex, Tom, and Jeff were talking. I'm definitely for splitting the league. |
