Hinges?
I'm helping to develop the ramp design for my team. Although it doesn't say anything against it in the manuel specifically, I would just like to make sure. Is the robot allow to have hinges on it to allow the ramp to swing over?

Yes.
 You're allowed to use anything that you can buy within the price limits that doesn't violate other rules.
