lower design portion (cummulative questions!!)

Alright, so after searching abit, i found threads about bottoming out on ramps, ground clearance, chassis design, power/speed of your bot, bumpers, ramps, lifters, ect...

No one thread discussed the overall subject of pretty much the lower portion of your robot (bumper, wheelbase, type of chassis, ect, ect, ect). Many threads talked of things very closely related to one another, but not one, complete discussion. So this will be it, and hopefully help teams from having to go through thread after thread to find ALL those little details...
