Placing inventor assemblies with motion constraints
I made a bunch of assemblies of different parts of the robot. Many of them have motion constraints (like the camers, the treads, the ramp.) Is there any way to add assemblies in other assemblies and still have them keep their motion constraints? Or do I have to remake them in the other assembly?

Re: Placing inventor assemblies with motion constraints
You will probably have to animate in Inventor Studio (see help files).
If you have remaining degrees of freedom and simply want to drag the parts through their range of motion you must RMB on the sub-assemblies and select Flexible. |

Re: Placing inventor assemblies with motion constraints
From what your saying it sounds like your simply trying to add an assembly as a component into another assembly (maybe?), as long as the assembly your trying to place is constrained right you should'nt recieve any problems.
