Question Strategy for A Ramp Bot

What would your strategy be if you had a Ramp bot?
How would you try to score?
Would you just get back to your home zone early so no one tries to stop you from scoring bonus points?
Would you focus on defense or try to do something else?
Obviously the ideal ramp bot would be able to do both but what is more important to you?

*Note* I have already done one for an arm bot so if you want to see then go here: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52948

Re: Strategy for A Ramp Bot

How would you try to score? Our team is trying to incorporate an arm to it, but we are still in the process and don't know whether its going or not.
Would you just get back to your home zone early so no one tries to stop you from scoring bonus points? Yes, we plan to go back about 30 seconds before the end of the match.
Would you focus on defense or try to do something else? We would mostly be defensive but we will try to score some points.
Obviously the ideal ramp bot would be able to do both but what is more important to you? The ramp is the most important aspect, because that’s the easiest way to make allot of points.

Re: Strategy for A Ramp Bot

I think...that If I were a ramp bot....My strategy would have something to do with trying to get other robots to climb on top of me... And score the bonus points respectful to how high my ramp is able to get them off the ground. This is my strategy for a ramp bot, and it is mine.
