Re: Re-wiring 24V double solenoids
Good morning,
If you are simply trying to fix the solenoids you recently received from SMC it is very simple...no wiring required... On the side of each double solenoid and one side of the single you will find small grey coils which are marked 24 volts... Remove the two screws that hold them in and use the replacement coils provided by SMC in place of them... You even get extra screws if you lose one while taking them out.... that's all you need to do... replace the 24 volt coils with the 12 volt coils and bingo you have 12 volt solenoids...
