Help with double solenoid
We attached our double solenoid to our cylinder and it was very slow on retraction and extension. We have the pressure coming in through the P hole on the three holed side, with the exits to the cylinder to through the A, B port. It was really slow. I checked the pressure after the solenoid and it was getting full pressure. Any ideas?

Re: Help with double solenoid
It sounds as if you might be applying equal pressure to the top and the bottom of the cylinder at the same time. Is the cylinder just moving out? Or does it move slowly in BOTH directions? I'm not looking at the solenoid right now, but make sure your supply pressure is 60 psi and connected to the P port. One side of the cylinder should be connected to port A and the other to port B. Finally make sure the exhaust ports (EA and EB) are both open. Finally do you have a needle valve installed? If you do you might need to open it a bit more.
