Kyle Orton for the win.

Grossman blew it, you really saw the inexperience show last night, but who knows, maybe he'll get better with more time?

Not as exciting as the game against the Patriots, but still a good one. I'm still in a good mood from the victory over the Pats two weeks ago

Re: Colts WIN!!!!!!!!

Wow... Grossman really does suck. No one knows how much of an anti-Bears fan I am. The only thing that would make me happier than I am right now is... well... I don't know. But I am extremely happy. I can't wait until I get to work, were everyone is a Bears fan, and stay quiet. That will punish them because I've been talking so much smack all week. They'll come to me with their excuses and I won't say a word. It will be so painful for them. In theory, anyways.

I'll end with one final note, the Bears stink. Better luck in 20 more years Bears fans.

*cough* Indy is 1-6 in big games since the Patriots dynasty *cough*

Seriously, Indy just got lucky; They're lucky that Reche Caldwell dropped the easiest pass in the endzone two weeks ago, this would've put NE up by 3. Indy got a LUCKY break, and then faced an easier team in the Superbowl. You'll see, next year will be a different year...and I'm going to go ahead and call it now, the Colts are gonna be the Steelers of last year.

Re: Colts WIN!!!!!!!!

The steelers should not have even been there.
they werent that good at all.
there was a lot of calls that game that should not have been called or should have been called that swayed the game into pits favor.
ne who...thats over and done with because they proved this year that they didnt deserve to win it.
haha
all i have to say is i hope that detroit doesnt make the mistake of taking a quarterback or a widereciver in this years draft....and we get some free agents from indy so one day we can be as good as them...haha

I think you are wrong. The Patriots are the ones on their way out - they have had their time in the spotlight, now you will see other teams begin to rise. Luck? Hardly. Your team blew it, I don't call that luck at all, I call it lack of skill. You know what is skill? Being down at the half 21 - 6 and coming back to win. That takes skill, that takes hard work and determination, and that is something that will forever be remembered as one of the greatest comebacks ever.

Bill Belichick is so emo now

Lets start from the beginning, the Patriots are not on their way out. The team this year was obviously very good and two first round picks wont hurt them. The dropped ball in the end zone was a lucky break, as bad as the Patriots were in the second half the Colts were equally atrocious in the first. That game was full of sloppy football, as was the super bowl, I have been to high school games where they executed plays better than either team did in the first quarter. The Colts come back was not one of the greatest comebacks ever, if you honestly believe it was then you need to watch some more football.

All in all this was one of the worst super bowls I have ever watched, both teams played poorly and it was just bad football.

Stu,

What I meant by 1-6 in their last "big" games was they've seemed to "choke" in the AFC championship games. I think this superbowl was hardly a "big game" as it was full of sloppy football, and I think the NE-Indy game two weeks ago was a much highly anticipated game than the superbowl. Yes, the Colts FINALLY beat NE to go farther in the offseason, thus they've only gone 1-6 in "big" games.

Call me a "sour grape", but if the colts had lost either the NE game or the superbowl, you Indy fans would've done the same thing. Its a friggin game, we're all fans, some of us just choose to be critics.

I'm sorry, but anytime a team comes back from being down by 15 points at the end of the half during a playoffs game when the rivalry is THIS huge, then you have a great comeback game that will be remembered for years to come.

Deny it all you want - it was an incredible comeback. The Patriot's offense played consistently for most of the game - I mean c'mon, they scored 34 points which is pretty darn good. However, their defense could not stop the Colts offense in the second quarter. Scoring 32 points in a half during a playoff game, against the Patriots, to win the game is amazing and will go down as such.

You guys keep talking about sloppy football. Most of the sloppy football I saw from the Colts happened during the first quarter - and no wonder, it takes a little while to get used to a game during rain. The ball is going to be slick, the field is going to be different, it's an entirely different scenario. The Colts adapted, the Bears didn't so much. The Colt's defense was great, again. Everyone knocked our defense, well you don't have much room to talk now do you

I'm done discussing the Patriots, you lost, better luck next year.

Yes the parade looked cold, but fun The dome was packed which is so cool to know that every person in that place was rooting for one team.

Colts adapted? Maybe. I think it was more likely one of Grossman's flip a coin and see if I have a quarterback rating of 100 or 0 days. His coin landed on 0
