Re: Safety - Hair Length
If anyone is getting a ten inches or more cut, they should consider Locks of Love. Here is their Web Site http://www.locksoflove.org/. When I get my haircut, it will be my third time donating to this organization.

Re: Safety - Hair Length
nice....but may we resolve a safe length to have? I say above shoulders = OK
...unless you have your face in a drill or disc sander |

Re: Safety - Hair Length
The whole thing is safety based... there is no specific height. It's just what is deemed safe for the activity by you, your mentors, and FIRST. Just be safe and think and you'll be fine. I have longer hair and I've never had this issue before because I simply know how to keep it up and out of the way when need be.
And yeah, Locks for Love rules! |

Re: Safety - Hair Length
If it can get caught in what you're working with, it's not safe no matter how short it is. If it's well restrained, it's probably safe no matter how long it is.
Safety is a practice, not a number. |

My hair is 2-3" past my shoulders and I tie it up 2-3 times in a hair (or ziptie!) just to make certain it doesn't get caught. |

Re: Safety - Hair Length
I just got my hair cut. Before it was shading the shoulders. Now my scalp feels the nice breeze of 4 degrees.
