our school has a similar stance on web content. so far we've had a decent relationship with the it guys and they have been very supportful of our team.
I understand that they have to do what they do, blocking websites, there are a lot of people who would search/view innapropriate content and the school has to make sure they don't end up with a lawsuit. |
