Globe Motor Wiring

How is the globe motor supposed to be wired? We cannot find compatible "clips" that match the motor. Do we need to buy some, or were they supposed to be in the KOP?

Re: Globe Motor Wiring

You can strip the wires and add your own connectors (see <R38>). A good crimp/solder joint is recommended. Remember to insulate whatever remains.

Re: Globe Motor Wiring

on a similar note, is the globe motor allowed to be run off of a spike this year?

Re: Globe Motor Wiring

Yes, it's allowed to be used with a Spike. Spikes require that there be a 20 A breaker in the circuit, and 20 A breakers require that the wire be 18 AWG or larger.

The only motors that you need to run from Victors are the Johnson F-P (9012) and both flavours of CIM.
