Need help!
The 3ds program I downloaded does not have the material files. Is there a way to get earth's background?

Gardener: Max installs the Material Libraries under C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 9 but then looks for them in \My Documents.
Try clicking Customize, Configure Paths. Then click Materials and modify the path to the correct location. |

To open up a material library, go to your Material Editor, go to the new material button, click the "Open" button, and find your Autodesk\3ds Max 9\materiallibraries folder. For convenience, I added a shortcut there in the materiallibraries folder in My Documents.
