Need one more fuse slot

We're using 4 CIMs for the drive train, and 1 FP. All of them need 40 amp fuses, but the maxi only has 4 slots. IFI doesn't sell maxi blocks, so we're not sure about what to do about the extra slot we need. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need one more fuse slot

We used last year's kit Maxi block to increase our entire capacity to 8 fuses. You may want to consider acquiring an additional fuse block.

Re: Need one more fuse slot

If you go on ebay you can find the sameones in the kit but they only have two slots instead of four.

Re: Need one more fuse slot

I believe that 2 port fuse panels would be illegal per <R46> since they are "different" then the 4 port ones provided in the kit.

We had this same problem. Here is what we learned in order to get a 2nd fuse block:

The "official FIRST supplier" for the gold-plated maxi fuse blocks is "Terminal Supply Co." (See http://www.terminalsupplyco.com/ ) The price for the gold-plated Maxi fuse blocks is $22.89 plus shipping.

The sales contact at Terminal Supply Co. for FIRST teams is Carrie Chambers. Her contact information (both email and 800-number) is on the attached scanned 2007 FRC parts list. She'll know about FIRST teams and the correct needed fuse block when you contact her.

Best Regards,
