inspection list

when it came to making my teams list of parts for our inspection I kept it broad but am not sure how specific I need to get. any suggestions?

There is a sample inspection list on the First website on this page...

I would use everything on the form as this is one used by inspectors.
If you are asking about post match checklists, then you need to check a variety of things. Look for loose or missing hardware, loose electrical connections and PWMs, damage, rubbing or bent drive parts, damage to camera if you are using one, smell for burned parts or hot mechanicals, then follow up with a functional test. Check before going out again that both batteries are charged.
