Re: So who's up late tonight?

I'm down at St. Cloud working on 1390s robot with Barry and a few other mentors. We're going to be finishing up electrical, the mechanical ramp deploy, and a few other things probably right up until we stick it in the crate at 1:30 tomorrow. However, I think we're going to have it nice and clean by the end.

Robot is in the crate, labeled and locked. Shop is clean, and we are waiting for pickup (between 1 and 3 tomorrow).

Re: So who's up late tonight?

For the first year ever, we didn't have a mad dash to finish the robot. Aside from the banebot transmission, oh EVIL banebot transmissions! (curse their cruel demon-spawned black hearts of malice), things went surprisingly smooth for us this season. Our progs even got incredibly lucky, first time running arm code with memory positions and it worked perfectly.

ANd then, at around 5-6ish the banebot transmission violently died, we decided to keep it and ship our arm in parts in the crate. Slapped our brand spankin new wheels on, took it our mentor's classroom and crated the sucker up.

Hard to believe it's gone.

Good luck to all the teams who have a LOOONG night ahead of them. May the spirit of the Dew keep thee awake.

-Chris
