MCC18 C compiler 60 day grace window

I don't know about you guys but I loaded my copy of MCC18 near the first week of this year's US FIRST challenge and it looks like the MCC18 C compiler 60 day grace window will be all used up before the competition. I may need to get this installed on another laptop and wanted to fore-warn anyone else from getting caught "with your pants down..."

I still need to make some software tweaks and will have a very disappointed team if I can't use the C compiler on the Thursday before the qualifying round...

Please check your dates for how much longer you can use your copy and plan accordingly...
Just thought I would put that one out there...

Any comments on that?

Why aren't you using the one that came in the kit?

Re: MCC18 C compiler 60 day grace window

I dowloaded our copy and didn't know one was included in the kit-
(I was not there when all the items were unboxed and the kids had things scattered before I got involved with this...

As I recall (six weeks ago seems like eons ago) there was something about having to use an older version of the MCC18 to work with the RC controller or that the libraries were not complete with the new er version. Also, I recall reading on this board that I had to download it..as after trying Easy-C, and the costs of using that, I decided that I wanted to stay with the MPLAB related software.

I keep getting an x # of days left on my copy whenever I compile and it is getting nearly used up now... hence the concern raised by my original post...

Does the one that came with the kit have a full time license or only a grace window?

I may be all messed up on this one so please set me straight...

thanks

Please use the one that came in your kit. The one that you downloaded will not work with the IFI products.

Re: MCC18 C compiler 60 day grace window

Thanks guys- I was under the impression that our kit only came with easy-C this year so I downloaded an older version of mcc18 that works with the IFI equipment and have been using it for the past six weeks...
