Our off-season events are not school sponsored, but rather parent sponsored trips.
Still with the agreement of the school. The district doesn't want to be held liable in the event of an accident or injury, since we don't strictly follow their rules of district transportation and district trained supervision. You want the school to be reassured that you share their concerns, so don't dismiss out-of-hand any issue they may raise. Work with the administration to prove you will run a responsible trip. We essentially borrow the robot, parents drive and chaperone their own kids. Last edited by Mark McLeod : 22-02-2007 at 11:00.
