Re: 2007 Duel In The Desert!!

Team 842 is most grateful to Highland High School's hospitality and sharing a fantastic Arizona day with all of us.

The Duel in the Desert scrimmage is always a treat. At our school, we really do not get to test our robot on carpet, except for maybe a 10 foot strip, so the Highland experience is always our first shakedown and we always find failures and a few things to add to the never completed "todo" list.

And it's great to see familair and a lot of new faces.

Thanks for a great start to the regionals.

Allan

I'll get pictures our team took up tommorow, there aren't alot (only like 8 or 10) but there's still some.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it Ken, my team managed to get there though. Too bad are robot isn't really working.

For those who were there; what 4 teams attended? I know that 842, 39, and 498 were there, but I do not know what number the other team in attendance was, and nobody from my team can seem to remember.

Re: 2007 Duel In The Desert!!

I believe team 1212 usually goes to the dual in the desert. It might be them instead of 1633.

I could be wrong but I blieve they were planing on going.

I am an alum from Seton and so I believe that is them.

There team name is holy hampsters, if that rings a bell.

Matt
