Automatic Registration?

Hey, our team leader was wondering if we win the regionals and move on to the Championship, will we automatically be able to go, even though he didn't sign us up on the TIMS? We didn't have enough in the budget to register, but he wasn't sure if that would stop us from going if we win. If it's not automatic, would it probably be to late to try and register?

Re: Automatic Registration?

slots for the 3 regional winners, and chairmans' award winner are left open for each regional. so if you win a regional, there is a slot for you to register into.

Re: Automatic Registration?

There will be space available, but it's not free. You'd have to find the entrance fee and pay for transportation and lodging.

As well as the rookie all-star and engineering inspiration

But as mentioned earlier, the registration fee is NOT waved

But as I understand it, your space will not be there for a very long time. I believe that arrangements must be made within a few days and payment arranged very soon as well.

According to a recent email blast:
Quote:
Registration Process:

* Login to TIMS ( http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/res_art2.htm) the Monday following your event and after 9:00 am EST;
* Proceed to the "Event Registration" section, click on the "Go" link and then "Add Event" to register your team for the Championship accordingly;
* Pay by credit card online or make payment arrangements with Finance by calling 800-871-8326, exts. 414 or 450 (please note your team will be in pending status until paid)

**IMPORTANT** You must both register and make payment arrangements by 5:00 pm EST Tuesday following your event. If you fail to do so, we can not guarantee your spot.
