Wired VEX Controller

Does anyone know if you can buy a wired VEX controller because I am working on a project where I can not use the wireless controllers?

Thanks in advance

Re: Wired VEX Controller

Run a cable from the tether port on the back of the radio (rubber flap below the radio crystal) to the RX1/RX2 input on the robot. You will need to find a cable, but that shouldn't be too hard.

EDIT: Check page 6.13-6.14 of the VEX inventor guide for more info.

I have found 25' curly phone cords at the Dollar Tree; you might want to splurge and get a 50' + cord for about $5 in just about any store with an electronics dept.
