Few questions

I have a few questions before submitting:

Do I have to do all the tubing on inventor? :

Secondly,

Should I turn in the main picture (one that represents the robot the most) as folded up or unfolded?

They aren't the final stuff.. I added more stuff and do materials and improve lighetning and stuff..

Re: Few questions

Absolutely, doing anything outside of Inventor willl significantly impact your team score.

I am not sure what you mean by your final picture, but it should be a jpeg, and it should be a rendered image of your robot (not in a zip file).

Remember to put all your Inventor files in a zip folder and that THEY OPEN W/O ANY PROBLEMS.

and look at the submission criteria before you submit it to be sure that you have everything. Rmember that the deadline is 5:00 PT (8:00 Eastern).

Good luck this year!

And should if I don't make the tubes and wires on inventor, is it going to be a big deal?

Re: Few questions

tubes are one of those unnecessary things that you do only if you have the time. I don't think that you need them, or could finish them, in time for the entry deadline.

Personally, I think you see the whole robot image mre clearly when your robot is unfolded.

Looks Good!

Re: Few questions

If you find the time to model the tubes I would first go through the document titled something like Getting Started with Routed Systems.pdf that you can find in the Inventor folder on your hard drive (I can't remember the exact name of the file but if you search on *.pdf you should find it.) There is an example of routing stainless steel tubing that would be appropriate for your design - just change the color to match your tubing.
