Not a bad idea. It'll take a few hours to pull the trannies and then the plates, deliver them to the shop - then I need to hope the shop gets them back to us in time to reassemble everything & get to inspection.
Honestly, I'm really not sure we have the time. When the plates went in, we did check the pins really carefully, they were all a press fit. In any case, it's not my decision, I'm just a consultant - the students need to think this out and decide what they want to do. Don
