New York is not a hard regional and neither is boston. At least this year, New Jersey was way more competitive than Florida. Other years, results vary. You will find that while many "big name" teams do not come to New Jersey, the level of competition is stiff. My only complain against New Jersey is that teams only got 7 official rounds.
