Provided my team goes to Atlanta, I'd definitely go, if (a) we can dress informally, i.e. team shirts, and (b) bring our robots as dates

Although that makes it more of a normal team social than a prom...

Sounds fun. You have three days to meet people and than a night to just relax and have fun with the peoples you meet. I think it would be pretty cool if we could do it formally, but I'm the guy who wears a tie for the heck of it with a nice shirt. Unfortunately we have a strict school district so we'll have to see what they say about this...*sigh*...
