Haha, I missed my junior prom, and I didn't get to go to my senior prom because I was a driver and it was the weekend of Atlanta. So, I definitely wouldn't mind doing a 2-year travel back in time and finally getting to go to prom Count me in!

Re: Prom anyone????

I'm positive other people on 1511 would love to take part in this...if allowed by our mentors. As for me, I might show up in a camo tux...that is if sophomores are allowed.

Re: Prom anyone????

It looks like the prom will be held at the hyatt hotel. It looks like most of the teams are staying there. Nothing in confirmed, but it looks like a good chance that its gonna happen. The only things is that there might be a small fee to get in, just so that we can cover the cost. Hope to see all of you there!

Re: Prom anyone????

it pretty much is whatever you want it to be...the only reason that were calling it prom is because our high school prom is that weekend. and were obviously not going to be able to attend...there will be music....and drinks i believe..

My team is seriously considering this. Any idea on time/cost? This sounds like a great opportuinty to socialize with other teams.

I'll just have to hope that Autodesk does that bandanna thing again. I'm gonna make me an Autodesk Tuxedo. Heck, I'll even draw up a prototype in Inventor first.

Re: Prom anyone????

OMG! Last year, me and Alicia both missed our junior prom for nationals, and this year (if we go, fingers crossed), the juniors will miss theirs too! I'm sure they would go, as would the seniors. What an awesome idea!
