As an Ex-FIRSTie who enjoyed watching the Phx regional, I have to say I feel sorry for all the people with trouble. My old team for this exact reason designed their own transmission, and have used that ever since. We don't change them between years so that we can interchange parts with old bots without having to buy spares. Cheap
