Re: 2007 - Regional Chairman's & Engineering Inspiration Winners

I have a quick question. A lot of teams were surprised to see the chairman's award at chesapeake go to a second year team. Has it ever been done before?

Re: 2007 - Regional Chairman's & Engineering Inspiration Winners

Its definitely a feat, and I must say congratulations, It's not an easy award to win. Especially in your second year. But it has been done. I know personally that team 1241 Theory 6 won it in at the GTR in 2005, their second year. and I'm sure theres more

West Michigan: Another great event this year!

C. A. 27 - Rush from Clarkston, MI
E. I. 85 - BOB from Zeeland and Fruitport, MI
R. A. 2054 - BIG Blue from Hopkins, MI (BIG = Brains, Ingenuity, and Guts - I think)

2054 is trying to scramble for funds for Atlanta over the weekend and Monday. It sounds like one of the Holland teams has room for them to go along on the bus.

Re: 2007 - Regional Chairman's & Engineering Inspiration Winners

Why not simply put all this information into the FIRST Wiki ?

http://www.firstwiki.org/

Advantages:

1. Easy to edit and keep up-to-date
2. Can provide linking to team pages
3. Quicker to find data instead of searching through 3 pages of these posts

Ditto for any other historical record data that gets hard to dig out of all these postings.

You can always provide a link from FIRST Wiki back to Chief Delphi for referencing posts made here.

Cheers

Skippy

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
